William Hodge Value of Colour Workshop

The Value of Colour

The concept of value is perhaps the most important character of colour and its usage. If value is well under control it is amazing how you can manipulate all other characteristics of colour. Through a visual presentation, discussion and investigation of the work of the presenter and the participants, we will investigate the importance of this element of colour. Participants are encouraged to bring examples of their work, particularly examples that have not been totally successful.

This session will take a seminar format as the time together is short. This will include visual presentations along with demonstrations of the points made in the presentation. Participants will have the opportunity to apply this information to their own works. The seminar is suitable for all levels of involvement in the visual arts.

Tickets are $60 – with a limit of 15 participants – available at the Museum
